Akat is a town in the south eastern region of the country. The people of the area is predominantly farmers and fisher men. They survive with what they get from their daily farming and traditional fishing. However, the town is blessed with abundant mineral resources such as crude oil and other minerals. Nevertheless the revenue from the oil are being hijacked by those in authority and hardly get to the average person in this town. Miss favour is born and brought up in this village and she has a promising future. Her parents tried their possible best to give her the best in life. Her secondary and primary school was attended in one of the best government school in the locality.
